Robert Milkman is a dedicated primary therapist at Avenues Recovery Center at Dublin. Originally from Whitinsville, Massachusetts, he now calls Orange, MA, home. Robert's academic journey began at Mount Wachusett in Gardner, MA, continued through Granite State in New Hampshire, and concluded at UHN, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a strong focus on addiction studies. He also holds an Associate’s degree in Human Services and an Addiction Counselor Certificate, and is currently working toward his Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) certification.
Robert’s passion for addiction treatment stems from personal experience—having witnessed the impact of addiction on his family and friends, he felt called to make a difference. His approach is deeply client-centered, meeting individuals where they are and tailoring his methods to best support their unique journeys to recovery.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys the Great Outdoors and loves spending time with his three adult children (aged 21, 28, and 35), three grandchildren, and two orange fur-babies. Whether exploring nature or simply enjoying time with loved ones, he believes in the power of connection and balance in life.
