A major drug trafficking operation in Louisiana culminated in the arrest of 15 individuals in Claiborne Parish, thanks to the coordinated efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies. This eight-month investigation, led by Louisiana State Police (LSP) and the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO), targeted a local drug trafficking organization and resulted in a significant bust.
According to KTBS news, the investigation, which began in May 2024, revealed numerous suspects and residences tied to illegal activities. On the day of the operation, LSP and CPSO, in collaboration with surrounding agencies, executed a series of search and arrest warrants, leading to the seizure of over 20 grams of crack cocaine, more than eight pounds of marijuana, over a pound of methamphetamine, approximately $5,000 in cash, and seven firearms.
In addition to LSP and CPSO, several other agencies participated in the operation, including the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office, Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Bossier City Police Department, Minden Police Department, David Wade Correctional Facility, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Marshals Service, and Arkansas State Police.
This operation is part of an ongoing investigation, and authorities anticipate further arrests as they continue to dismantle the drug trafficking network.
