What is Newsweek’s “America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers” ranking?
On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Newsweek released the fifth edition of the “America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers” list. Powered by Statista, a data intelligence platform, the ranking recognizes the top 400 inpatient, long-term and residential addiction treatment facilities in the United States in the states where these facilities are most common. New for 2024, the ranking includes four regional lists which cover states not surveyed individually.
Statista assessed the performance of each facility based on three criteria: SAMHSA accreditation data, reputation surveys from medical professionals and administrators in the field, and client Google reviews. These three points served as a barometer of evidence-based clinical care, sound leadership and function, and client satisfaction.
