A large-scale drug bust in central Indiana has resulted in 13 arrests, with two suspects still at large. Titled "Operation Breeze," the operation was initiated in 2024 by the Kokomo Police Department, with arrests spanning throughout January. Authorities uncovered significant amounts of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms, along with 13 firearms, body armor, and approximately $12,000 in cash.
According to Fox 59 news, the operation’s efforts were centered on tackling a range of drug-dealing activities, from methamphetamine distribution to firearm possession. Authorities also seized several illegal substances linked to distribution networks operating in the area. The investigation involved key contributions from various local law enforcement divisions, including the Kokomo Police Department K-9 Division and the Wabash County Drug Task Force.
While 13 individuals were arrested, two more suspects remain on the run. Warrants have been issued for their arrest, both charged with dealing methamphetamine. Police are asking the public for assistance in locating the suspects and are offering anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers.
