First Steps

The admissions process begins with your first phone call to Avenues. The minute you express an interest in getting clean and sober, we become your team, guiding you through every step of the process. During this time you will provide information about your current usage, insurance coverage and financial situation.

Transportation

We are happy to arrange for transportation to any of our facilities.

What To Bring

  • Comfortable, seasonally appropriate clothing (no short-shorts, spaghetti straps, strapless tops, or clothing depicting drug/alcohol use, profanity, or gang symbols)
  • Toiletries (must be alcohol free), including shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, deodorant, packaged safety razors, shaving cream, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup remover towelettes, makeup, and hair styling products. Packaged, unopened cigarettes. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outdoors.
  • Packaged snacks
  • Books, journals

What Not To Bring

  • All electronics, including cell phone, video games, iPad/iPod, computers, unless pre authorized by your treatment team
  • Perfume, cologne, or mouthwash, unless clearly labeled “Alcohol Free”
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Valuables, including large amounts of cash, jewelry, or designer goods

Paying For Treatment

Now that you’ve made the decision to turn your life around, you deserve access to cutting edge, affordable care. Allow us to speak with your insurance company to ensure you receive the maximum allowable benefit. Payment plans are available to those for whom insurance will not cover the entire cost.
